Donna Murphy was born in Oklahoma and worked the first 22 years of her career at the University of Oklahoma, including serving as interim vice president of University Relations during its successful Centennial Campaign. She subsequently held leadership positions at two international non-profit organizations and two major research universities. Now retired, she is active in several civic, environmental and charitable organizations, and often provides pro bono consulting to non-profit organizations and up-and-coming young professionals. She is active in economic development, affordable housing and environmental activities. Her twin sons own a local business, and she is blessed with six grand-children.
